How
and where can the gift card be used?
The gift card is an instant-issue prepaid Visa card. Gift cards can
be used to purchase goods or services wherever Visa
debit cards are accepted. When asked to select "credit" or "debit,"
be sure to select "credit." The gift card may not be
used at an ATM or to obtain cash. Once the gift card has been loaded with
a dollar amount, it is immediately available
for use up to that amount.
What dollar amounts can be loaded onto the gift card?
The minimum load is $10; the maximum load is $500. The gift card is
reloadable if it is registered.
What fees are associated
with the gift card?
~Purchase fee: $5 (regardless
of the amount loaded onto the card)
~Lost/stolen card-replacement fee: $5 per card
~Administrative
fee: $2 per month after 6 months of inactivity
~Expired-card reissue fee: $7.50
Will the gift card
expire?
Yes. Each gift card has a 2-year expiration date. If a gift card expires
with a balance remaining, the cardholder can request
a new card within 12 months of the expiration date. The new gift card
will carry the remaining balance minus the $7.50
expired-card reissue fee.
What if the gift
card is lost or stolen?
Lost or stolen gift cards may be replaced for the lost/stolen card-replacement
fee of $5 assuming the following:
1) the lost gift card was registered,
2) available funds remained on the card at the time that it was lost,
3) the identity of the cardholder can be confirmed.
